One thing that got us thinking at the recent Trade Days event was the number of seminars dedicated solely to how businesses can use social media more effectively. One talk – provocatively titled: Social Media, Why Bother made the case very clearly that social media can be a really effective tool if used correctly.

No sooner have we unloaded the van following the OT Show than it’s time to pack it up again and head to another great event – The Occupational Therapy Adaption Conference in The Hilton, Newcastle on the 7th December. Steve (and quite possibly Kevin) will be there along with four of our most popular models, Eco-flex, Bariatric, Harmony Porta and the Newark.
Last month Recliners made our way to one of our favourite shows of the year – the Occupational Therapy Show in Birmingham’s NEC. While talking to the OTs who recommend our chairs is something we try to do all year round, we rarely get a better chance to speak to so many professionals all together than at this popular annual event. We were really happy to get a lot of positive feedback on six of our most popular models, The Ecoflex, The Newark, The Symphony, The Harmony Porta, The Harmony Riser Porta and The Bariatric. We also took our mascot, Kevin the Minion (pictured) along to enjoy the show.
Welcome to Inside Recliners. Issue 7. We hope you’ve had a great month. As usual, we’ve been hard at work here in the factory, but we’ve had time to get prepared for one of our favourite events of the year, the OT Show in Birmingham. Ever on the hunt for ways to make your job easier, this month we’ve also been having a look at tools to reduce paperwork. We’ve also given our advice on ways to reduce pressure injuries, with the World Stop Pressure Ulcer Day coming up later in the month.
Paperwork is one of the biggest bug bears across the medical industry, with the amount of time it takes often said to reduce the time caregivers are able to dedicate to their patients.
