Happy Christmas everyone! We wanted to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all our customers, partners and friends for all your support and feedback during the year. Here’s wishing you a very happy Christmas and a fantastic 2019.
Here in the workshop our elves are working hard getting the last of our Christmas orders out of the door before a well-earned break. We don’t doubt you’re just as busy wrapping presents and attending Christmas dos. So it’s a shorter Inside Recliners than usual this month, but we hope you enjoy all the same.
As always, this seems like a good time of year to reflect on another great year, so here are a few of our highlights from 2018.

Events
OTAC Llanelli
We were proud to sponsor the OTAC Llanelli show in July – a great event that brought together OTs and businesses for a day of networking and CPD opportunities. Read our write up of the day here.
The OT Show
The Occupational Therapy Show is always one of the biggest events of the year, and the event in November didn’t disappoint. The Multicare Plus stole the show, with dozens of OTs and other healthcare professionals offering positive feedback on our most popular model.
New Chairs to Our Range
There were two new chairs to our range this year and we’re super proud of both of them.
Newbury
Hudson
Then in May came the Hudson, a versatile and ergonomically designed chair that is equally suited for the home or healthcare environment.
Changes in Staff
Things have shifted round a little in the factory this year. Firstly, after more than twenty years, Steve Lewis left the company to start a new life in warmer climes. Last we heard he was doing very well, and we wish him all the very best.
In August, Matt Davies became company director – we’re all still here so he must be doing something right!
