Hi and welcome to this month’s Inside Recliners. In any normal year, we’d be rushing to get the last of the Christmas orders sent, and looking forward to the Christmas party right about now. But with Covid meaning our last orders date had to be pushed forward, and of course, no party to plan, it all feels strangely quiet up at the factory. (For the time of year at least). That’s given us a little time to reflect, and think back on what has been an extraordinary and challenging 12 months.
At the end of it all, we have 2 things we’d like to say:
A Huge Thank You to Our Staff
As the end of a difficult year approaches, we wanted to take the opportunity here to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to all the Recliners staff. The professionalism, dedication and understanding shown through what has been an extremely difficult year have been nothing short of outstanding. From working through the night to complete orders, to the innovative development and rapid production of the HCE range to respond to the immediate demands of the Covid-19 crisis, the work of our staff has been inspiring to see. We are proud to work with such a fantastic group of people in the Recliners family.
And a Huge Thank You to our Customers too!
And of course, a massive thank you to you, our customers. While we have tried to operate as effectively as possible this year, Covid-19 restrictions have of course posed certain issues: lead times on component parts have increased and less staff in the factory has meant we haven’t always been able to send orders as quickly as usual. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time, and we hope we have been able to meet your needs despite the difficulties we all face. We have really appreciated your feedback on our new ranges and your positive comments of support as various restrictions have forced us to close. We are nothing without our customers, and we appreciate your support each and every day.
