As an OT, communication with your patients is essential – you need to gather as much information as you can about how they are feeling to enable you to assist them better. However, your patients may not always communicate to you when they are feeling uncomfortable in their chair. They may be embarrassed to ask, have difficulty communicating – or they may not even realise they could be more comfortable.

The elves have put the final touches to the last of the Christmas orders, the reindeers have been sent on their way and now it’s just a few of us left here in the Recliners workshop to sweep the floors and close things down for another year.
Hi, and welcome to December’s Inside Recliners. We hope you’ve had a great November and have been enjoying the beautiful autumn weather. It’s been all go here as usual – as well as continuing to get a large number of orders into the workshop, we’ve been in Birmingham at the OT Show, and preparing for the OTAC Conference next week. All that while getting in the last of the Christmas orders! (Our last order date before Christmas is in just a couple of days’ time, by the way)
