We were thrilled to be a part of the inaugural RISE 4 Disability Show, which was held in Dartford on the 22nd June.

The event brought together many of the UK’s major manufacturers of products for disabled people, and was a great chance for occupational therapists and retailers alike to get a sense of the best the industry has to offer.

We displayed three of our latest and most popular chairs, the Eco Flex, The Newark and The Harmony Porta. As with the OTAC show a couple of months ago, there was a huge amount of interest in all the models, and it was great to have the chance to showcase the unique features of The Eco Flex and the stylish comfort of The Newark first hand.

These shows are always a great opportunity to connect with other manufacturers in the industry, and we had some really interesting conversations with Richard from Qbitus Products. They make bespoke, pressure relieving cushions for wheelchairs and other seating solutions and the range they were displaying was certainly impressive.

Credit should also be given to the healthcare search engine specialists, Made to Aid, who organised the event. It was well attended and extremely well run with a great range of displays and seminars. We’ll certainly be back next year!

Did you meet us at RISE? Or did you see our stand but not get a chance to connect? Either way, it’d be great to stay in touch. Email us at info@recliners.org.uk or follow us on Twitter @WeAreRecliners
