Every once in a while we have a factory declutter. As anyone who’s ever moved house knows, it’s amazing just how much builds up over time! Last month we decided another tidy-up was long overdue and as we cleared the back rooms of the workshop we found that we had a lot of leftover material from some of our old lines. Our fabrics are all high tech and high comfort, so we were sure they could be of use to someone. We put the word out to the local community and the response was terrific! Everyone from local communities groups to local centres for the disabled and autism support groups got in touch with ideas about how they could use the material. We’re thrilled to say that we were able to fill nearly all the requests. It was a great way for us to avoid waste – and we enjoyed seeing the creative upcycling that went on in the community too.

Thanks for reading Inside Recliners – our monthly round up of what we’ve been up to and what’s caught our eye. It’s been another busy month here at the workshop, so let’s get straight in.

Next Chair of the Month – The Warminster

Have you felt that chill in the air the last couple of days? We’re not wishing summer away, but there’s no escaping the fact that evenings by the fireside are coming back around again. So we’re focusing on one of the cosiest chairs in our domestic range this month — the Warminster.
