We are excited (and extremely proud) to announce our collaboration with Stuart Barrow and his Promoting Independence Organisation. Stuart will be providing clinical advice as we develop our new range of chairs, helping us to continue to deliver maximum utility and comfort to all our end users.

We are thrilled to announce this new partnership with Stuart Barrow of Promoting Independence. We have worked with Stuart on a number of previous occasions, as he has helped us deliver training on our MultiCare Plus and Eco-Flex models, as well as providing invaluable market insight to help us further understand the needs of our users. One thing’s for sure – Stuart really is an expert is his field, and we are excited about the knowledge and experience he can bring to our product. A regular expert contributor to Thiis magazine, Stuart will be helping us from concept to development of our new range of chairs, to ensure we are serving the many people that use our products around the country as well as we can.

Stuart said: “As an Occupational Therapist whose background is social services and adapting environments, alongside specialist moving and handling plans, I have seen first-hand the great work Recliners do as a company and feel privileged to join them to provide expert clinical input alongside my team of associates.

Seating is a specialism and more people are living with complex needs within the community and often want to fund chairs privately, through charities or even just the assessment so that statutory services can consider funding.

Working with Recliners helps them develop their knowledge of clinical needs of clients and enables all staff to gain an understanding of what clinicians require as well as what the end-user needs when sourcing a chair.”

We look forward to providing you with updates on the collaboration soon.
