W-w-w-w-Welcome to a very chilly Inside Recliners. We’re certainly feeling the cold up here in the Welsh hills this week. Still, there’s little quite as beautiful as the valley covered in snow and the cold weather is nothing a cup of hot coffee and a good day’s making can’t fix. We hope you’re staying warm and safe wherever you are this week and that you’ve got the cupboards stocked with enough tins of soup, teabags and maybe something a little stronger to see you through! And don’t forget – knock on that neighbour’s door – just to be sure.

Every spine has a natural curvature; this is useful as the curves help the back absorb stress as we move about our daily lives. However, when these curves become too pronounced it can lead to problems such as back pain. In serious cases, over-curved spines may even lead to long-term muscular issues and cause a patient problems breathing. Therefore it’s essential to spot this unnatural curvature of the spine early to correct it or at the very least prevent the condition deteriorating.
Hi and welcome to November’s Inside Recliners. Winter’s certainly arrived here in the Welsh valleys, and we’ve been scraping the ice off our windscreens for a few weeks now. Can’t quite believe how close Christmas is! We’ve got plenty to keep us warm though, making all your orders in time for last posting day. Like a bunch of Santa’s elves! Have a great few weeks,
The team at Recliners.
One problem that’s far too common in both care and domestic settings is incidents of patients falling or sliding from their chairs. Particularly at risk are elderly patients as well as those with muscular conditions, and a fall from a chair can cause discomfort, embarrassment or even injury for the patients involved. The good news is that with a correct seating assessment, the risk of falling from a chair can be greatly reduced.
